Your last management accounts
Whatever form they take. If you do not produce them, or they are three months old, that is already a useful thing for us to know and not something to apologise for.
Contact
An introductory consultation is a conversation about your position and your priorities. It is free, confidential from the first minute, and carries no obligation.
Send us a message
You do not need to have your thoughts organised before writing. “Something is wrong with our margins and I cannot work out what” is a perfectly good first message.
If the situation is urgent
If cash pressure is the immediate issue, say so in the first line of your message. It changes what we do first and how quickly we respond, and it changes nothing about how you will be treated. There is no judgement in that conversation, and if the right answer is a licensed insolvency practitioner or another regulated adviser we will tell you plainly and help you find one.
Confidentiality
Everything you tell us is confidential from the first minute, before anything is signed and whether or not you go on to engage us. We will sign your non-disclosure agreement or provide ours. We do not add enquirers to a mailing list, we do not pass details to anybody, and we do not follow up repeatedly. If you decide not to proceed, you will not hear from us again unless you write.
What happens next
None of this is a sales process. Each step costs you nothing until you have signed a written scope, and there is no follow-up sequence if you go quiet.

Within one working day, from a senior adviser, with a suggested time or a question if we need one first.
Forty-five minutes. We ask what is happening, what you have already tried, and what would have to be true in a year for this to have been worth doing.
A short summary of what we heard and what we would suggest, including where the suggestion is somebody other than us. Yours to keep either way.
If it makes sense, a written scope with deliverables, timeline, named people and a fixed price. Prepared at our cost. If it is not right, say so.
Preparing for the conversation
But if you would like to, these help, and not having them is itself useful information.
Whatever form they take. If you do not produce them, or they are three months old, that is already a useful thing for us to know and not something to apologise for.
Roughly what is in the bank and roughly what is due out. Precision is not required at this stage; direction of travel is.
Including what did not work. It saves us both from recommending something you have already discovered the limits of.
What would have to be different in twelve months for this to have been worth doing. If you are not sure, that is often the most productive part of the conversation.
